How The Fermentation System Works

Nov 12, 2024

Beer fermenter is an indispensable equipment for beer brewing. They are used to ferment wort.
The mollified wort is cooled and then put into the fermenter. Fermentation is about to begin. Yeast is added to the wort, and when the yeast eats the sugar, it produces alcohol and carbon dioxide. This process can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on the type of beer being brewed
Fermenters are designed to be hermetically sealed to prevent external contamination and usually have a valve to release excess carbon dioxide.
The fermenter is able to control the temperature, oxygen water and stirring during the fermentation process, which can be adjusted to produce a unique flavor and aroma in the beer.
Fermenters can be used in pubs, small and medium-sized craft breweries, or large brewery production lines because multiple batches of beer can be fermented simultaneously in large tanks. This allows the brewery to increase capacity and meet production demand.
The control and scalability required for high quality beer.
