Working Principle Of Beer Brewing Equipment

Nov 03, 2024

The working principle of beer brewing equipment mainly includes the following key steps and components:

‌Raw material preparation and mixing‌: The first step in brewing beer is to prepare the raw materials, including malt, hops, yeast and water. The malt is ground by a malt crusher to release starch and enzymes, which convert starch into fermentable sugars. Next, the malt is mixed with hot water and wort is extracted in a brewing pot.

‌Boiling and hop addition‌: The wort is sent to the boiling pot, where it is boiled and hops are added. The acidity and bitter substances in the hops convert the sugars and other components in the wort into complex flavor substances. This process requires precise control of time and temperature.

‌Fermentation‌: The boiled liquid is cooled and sent to the fermentation tank, where yeast is added. Yeast converts sugars into alcohol and carbon dioxide, a process called fermentation. Fermentation time and temperature are important factors in regulating the flavor and alcohol content of beer.

‌Maturation and carbonation‌: After fermentation, the beer is transferred to the maturation tank for maturation and cooling, which makes the beer clearer and richer in flavor. If needed, carbonation can be performed to increase the bubbles and taste of the beer.
Filtration and bottling: Finally, the beer is sent to the filtration equipment to remove residual yeast and impurities. After the filtration is completed, the beer is bottled and ready to be sold and enjoyed.
