Types of Brandy Distilling Equipment
Pot Stills
Also known as batch stills, pot stills are the traditional method of brandy distillation, especially revered in regions like Cognac and Armagnac in France. Column Stills

An automatic brandy distillation device operates by applying controlled heat to fermented fruit mash (commonly wine or pomace) in a sealed boiler. These vapors travel through a connecting pipe into a condenser, where they are rapidly cooled using water or air, transforming them back into liquid form—now concentrated as brandy.
