Description

2 vessles beer brewhouse system
2-Vessel Craft Beer Brewhouse System

The equipment shown in the picture is a typical two-vessel beer brewhouse, which completes the four processes of mashing, lautering, boiling and whirlpooling with only two vessels. Compared with multi-vessel combinations, two-vessel brewhouses are more cost-effective. The two vessels are connected by a brewhouse platform, featuring a compact design and a small footprint. They have lower requirements for site conditions such as floor height and area. The operation is relatively simple and labor-saving, as it can be operated by just 1 to 2 people. With fewer tanks, heat loss is reduced, resulting in lower steam and power consumption. The system is also flexible in process and supports a variety of craft beer brewing techniques. In addition, cleaning is generally convenient, usually using CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems. For 50L or 100L systems, mobile CIP carts are often equipped, which can be easily moved to the tanks that need cleaning.

Feature and Structure of Brewhouse System

1. The tank is made of 304 stainless steel, which meets food-grade hygiene standards. Its exterior is usually finished with brushed oil film or mirror polishing. The tank has a cylindrical shape with dished heads on both ends and is equipped with insulation layers.

2. Inside the tank, there are a milled screen plate, raking blades, 360° cleaning spray balls, a liquid level sensor, and other standard parts.

3. A variable-frequency motor and reducer are installed on the top of the tank, allowing flexible speed control during stirring. The tank is fully welded without gaps to ensure no leakage and maintain safety and hygiene. It also has reserved sanitary quick-fit connections for exhaust valves, sensors, hop feeders, and other equipment, plus a quick-opening manhole for easy daily inspection and maintenance.

Why Quality Matters for Brewing Equipment

The quality of brewing equipment directly affects beer flavor, fermentation stability, sanitation safety, and long-term operating costs.Low-quality tanks and poor welding can lead to leakage, bacterial contamination, inconsistent temperature control, and even production downtime - all of which bring huge risks to a brewery.

Key factors that determine brewing equipment quality:

Sanitary Structure & Polishing: Beer wort is highly sensitive to bacteria. Dead corners, rough welds, or unpolished surfaces can easily trap residues and cause contamination. All our tanks use mirror-polished interiors and crevice-free design to meet food-grade hygiene requirements.

Welding Quality & Pressure Resistance: Tanks undergo repeated heating, cooling, and pressure changes. Professional automated welding ensures airtightness, pressure resistance, and long service life, avoiding cracks or leaks after years of use.

Precision Temperature Control: Mashing, boiling, and fermentation require stable temperature control. Our jacket design, insulation layer, and sensor layout ensure even heat distribution, which is essential for consistent beer quality batch after batch.

Stable & Easy Operation: A well-designed system reduces operational difficulty and labor costs. Rational pipeline layout, user-friendly control panels, and reliable components make daily production smoother and more efficient.

By strictly controlling material, processing, welding, and polishing standards, we help breweries avoid hidden troubles and ensure stable, efficient, and safe beer production.

FAQ

1. Can this 2-vessel system work with different beer recipes?

Yes. It supports multiple mashing methods including step mashing, infusion mashing, and decoction mashing. You can set temperature, time, and stirring speed freely on the PLC panel, making it suitable for ales, lagers, IPAs, stouts, and most craft beer styles.

2. How much beer can I actually produce per day with 500L / 1000L?

Under normal working hours (8–10 hours), you can run 2 to 3 batches a day.

500L system: 1000–1500L per day

1000L system: 2000–3000L per dayActual output depends on your heating speed, cooling efficiency, and labor schedule.

3. Can I choose different 2-vessel combinations?

Yes. We offer several standard setups:

Mash/Lauter + Boiling/Whirlpool

Mash/Boiling + Lauter/Whirlpool

Independent lauter tank + combined mash-boil-whirlpool tankWe can also customize layout based on your workshop size and height.

4. Which heating type is better for my project?

Steam: highest efficiency, preferred for commercial breweries

Electric: clean and easy to install, no boiler needed

Gas: lower running cost, good where gas is cheapWe recommend based on your local energy supply and budget.

5. How long does installation and commissioning take?

For standard 500–1000L systems, 7–10 working days on site, including equipment positioning, piping, wiring, testing, and basic operator training.

6. Why is your welding better than manual welding?

We use automatic laser welding for small parts and robotic welding for tank seams. This ensures consistent, leak-proof, sanitary welds without pores or dead zones, greatly extending service life and avoiding long-term leakage risks.

7. Can this system match my existing fermentation tanks?

Yes. We can adjust pipe dimensions, control logic, pump parameters, and interfaces to connect with your existing fermenters, cooling system, or CIP unit. Just share your current equipment layout.

8. What should I prepare before the equipment arrives?

You need a leveled floor, proper power supply, water/drain connections, and compressed air (if using pneumatic valves). We will provide a detailed site preparation drawing before production to avoid delays.
