Working principle of distillation equipment

The basic separation principle of distillation equipment is to use the difference in boiling points of different substances at different temperatures to achieve separation. When the mixture is heated to the boiling point of one of the components, the component begins to evaporate, is cooled by the cooling water in the condenser and converted into liquid, and is finally collected and separated. During the whole process, the liquid mixture is first heated by the evaporator until one of the components evaporates, then cooled and collected by the condenser, and the unseparated liquid product is refluxed back to the evaporator through the reflux device for re-separation, and finally the generated gas is removed by the degasser.
