How the brewery supporting system works

Dec 02, 2024

‌The supporting system of the brewery mainly includes automatic beer filling machine and CIP system, and their working principles are as follows‌:

Working principle of automatic beer filling machine
The automatic beer filling machine is a key equipment on the modern beer production line, and its working principle can be summarized as follows:

‌Feeding and positioning‌: The empty bottles enter the working area of the filling machine through the feeding port, and the bottle conveyor or track guides the bottles to flow in an orderly manner to ensure that the bottles can accurately enter the interior of the filling machine‌.
‌Detection and cleaning‌: The filling machine uses sensors or other devices to detect and locate the position of the bottle. During this process, the filling machine also cleans and disinfects the bottles to ensure the quality and hygiene of the beer‌.
‌Filling and control‌: Once the bottle is accurately positioned, the filling machine will deliver the beer to the bottle through a pipe or pipe system. In order to ensure the accurate filling amount of beer, the filling machine is usually equipped with a high-precision metering system that can accurately control the filling amount of each bottle‌.
‌Reset and detection‌: After the beer filling is completed, the filling machine will also perform some control operations, such as resetting the filling head or nozzle, and a device to prevent beer from overflowing. These operations ensure the normal operation of the beer filling machine and avoid beer waste and contamination.
‌Discharging and quality inspection‌: Bottles with beer will leave the filler through the discharge port and enter the next processing stage, such as capping or packaging. During this process, the filler will also perform quality inspections on the bottles to ensure that each bottle meets the quality requirements.
How the CIP system works
The CIP system is used to clean tanks and pipes. Its basic steps include:

‌Pre-rinsing‌: Use water to rinse off most of the dirt and residues to prepare the equipment for deeper cleaning.
‌Alkali washing‌: Using caustic soda (sodium hydroxide), it effectively breaks down and removes organic dirt. The cleaned solution is usually recycled for sustainable development.
‌Rinsing‌: Rinsing the equipment thoroughly with water, with an emphasis on recycling water where feasible.
‌Acid washing‌: Phosphoric acid is used to eliminate beer stone accumulation, ensuring optimal equipment performance and hygiene. The acid solution is captured and reused in an environmentally friendly way.
